LAUNCHES WOMEN’S PRIVATE BANKING TAIB Bank E.C., the Bahrain-based Investment Bank, has announced the launch of "Women’s Private Banking" as an extension to the existing Private Banking Division at the bank. In her statement, Ms. Sue Clark, Senior Vice President, said, "I am pleased to announce the launch of ‘Women’s Private Banking’ which will cater to the financial investment needs of women investors in the GCC as part of the existing Private Banking Division at TAIB Bank ." In September 2001, TAIB Bank created "Women’s Private Banking" as an extension to the existing Private Banking Division which targets high net worth individuals and institutions. The Management discovered that the number of women establishing their own businesses in the Gulf has increased. Recognizing the optimism and potential in this sector TAIB strengthened this unit by assigning a bilingual team of 5 members, currently headed by Sue Clark, Senior Vice President, Head of Real Estate. She holds a Masters Degree in Marketing and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Banking and Chartered Institute of Marketing. Sue has worked with TAIB for 20 years mainly in the Gulf and her work experience in the Real Estate business has taken her around the globe. Other team members, Rita D’Souza has been with the bank for over 5 years, Durra A. Rahim for over 10 years, both, members of the AIWF, and Huda Radhi for over a year holds a Masters Degree in Systems Engineering. Halah Abdulla Faraj, recently joined the team after completing her BSc. in Business Information Systems. After having successfully excelled in aggressive in-house and external training, the Women’s Team developed motivation, confidence, greater efficiencies, improved levels of client service, streamlining network processes and deepening relationships with clients.
