TAIB's Income Fund is managed for steady returns through
a diversified portfolio of high-yield, fixed income securities
-- as they offer reliable earnings and protection from the
risks associated with equity funds. The Fund invests across
TAIB's markets as well as in U.S. collateralized mortgage
obligations (CMOs), to reduce currency risk and mitigate the
negative effects of market fluctuations in any one country.
Investment Objectives
To increase returns through a diversified portfolio of fixed
income securities, while preserving the principal and avoiding
the risk of equities, with the goal to pay a quarterly dividend
of at least 6% per year.
Investment Strategy
The TAIB Income Fund focuses on treasury bills issued by various
sovereign governments and other securities with maturities
of one year of less, government bonds, bank debt and CMOs
issued by U.S. government-sponsored agencies --capitalizing
on the fact that even credit-worthy emerging markets often
pay above-market rates for short-term borrowing.
